Time up...
The answer as Sir Ian Botham
it was the third ashes test at headingley and england where 135-7 still 92 runs behind when Graham Dilley walked to the crease to Join Ian and knowing he was running out of partners he uttered the words
Lets give it some humpty
What followed was and still is some of the most brutal power hitting ever seen at a test match against a world class bowling line up
Botham reached 100 of 87 balls and end up 149 not out and england went on to win by 18 runs and the series 3-1

That's an easy one! Q # 105. Winterbottom, wasn't it, he was the first official manager, then just before the WC in '66 it was Sir Alf R. Prior to that the team was selected by committee. None of you Englanders know that? By the way - no football questions....

Didn't our Henry VIII have six wives, Katherine from Aragon, Anne from near West Ham, a couple of Catherines, another Anne from Germany and a Jane Seymour. Boedecia was she queen of england or part of it. Queen Anne married to George, I could go on and on, but did you mean Queens that reigned on their own?

Both on their own, and with a King (not Consort-like.)

Eh?
The dates are of their lives, not when they ruled.......
Elizabeth 2 was born in 1926, wasn't she, though she came on to the throne in 1953?
