Ok, I understand the news about the redundances dosn't bode well, but we salvaged a point last night, (wonder if Ted was there to witness the goal) but it is very quite on here today, are you all making the most of this, (better not say it) foreign summer. We tend to play below form when up against the lower league opposition, so beware City on Saturday and the changing around of the players in the team is not unlike the last Championship season when Ollie didn't find his ultimate team until the March. Without the reserves this season it must be very hard for Ollie to construct his first XI and as he stated in the press, he is only too aware like the fans that making up for the loss of CA,DJ, and DV is a problem. I am sure that come early October the cavalry will turn up, Ollie was pretty sure a few weeks back that a couple of hundred players woud not be needed by the top clubs and there would be a good choice available. I hope I am right, the last thing we need is to be at the Alamo come Easter, we know what that outcome was.

Terrible news from BAE, I hope the families get the support required.
As for last nights game, and to be fair we can include the previous 2-3 games, we are short
in several departements and were lucky to secure a point.
I have no doubt IH will provide the answers but it better happen soon or the gap to
sixth place may be to large.

everyone, I guess, is in the process or realigning realistic expectations for this season. I'm of the opinion we're looking at a two year plan and maybe thats a good idea for the club so that a solid foundation can be made. Would love it if we could make the play off lottery again this season but...........lets just wait until Xmas and see how we're doing.
This is the first time under Ollie that we have expectations of more than just survival. In fact I can't remember when we last started a season and expected to be in the promotion push. I'm sure the team will improve over this year and sooner or later will get on a winning streak, but I now believe it'll be next year before we're ready again for the Prem. Just too big an ask for Ollie without megabucks being spent and as we all know that's never going to happen.

I heard that people where delayed getting to a PC due to a accident on the M55 where a few wagons went round a corner and a few people fell off the bandwagon.
Myself i just decided to take a day off from from PC things and sit in the garden with a chilled bottle of wine and a book...
