so having pondered for the last few hours and calmed down and never been one to moan about the team I have come to the conclusion that was utter pants. Out of the 6 goals we have conceded in the last 2 games 4 of them have come at the back post? and you can bet your life all teams will now just pepper the box with crosses. Maybe its time to stop trying to spring the offside trap as when it fails its going to cost us 99.9% of the time? I am also a bit confused why ollie subbed ludo considering he is the most creative midfielder we have and considering the below average game ferguson had. Today our passing was slack and often to short and at times we played a team mate into trouble straight away. Don't get me wrong i am behind the team and ollie 100% but today was just wrong on to many fronts and no point trying to paper or the cracks. I think we should just pick a starting 11 for the 7 remaining games and stick to it and no more chopping and changing it will still leave us a impact bench full of options but the team need to settle now. on the plus side we still in the top 6 and think we will probably sneak 6th place if not as long as we finish in the top 10 it will still have been a outstanding performance by the lads and ollie. come on boys heads up and get us on a run starting with southampton next saturday

Can't disagree about the defence, Sherl, it seems to evaporate at set pieces. Maybe we could borrow Peter Suddaby from Stowe School for a couple of months! (if he's still there)
I was more encouraged by the attack, if KP had slid that lovely pass in instead of scooping over the bar just before half time, who knows what would have happened?
To be totally honest, and no disrespect to Ollie and the boys, if we do scrape into the playoffs, I'm not sure we have yet got the spark to bring the whole thing together and compete like we did last time in the Prem. We need a playmaker, I think we have got the rest, with some good coaching.

No more excuses about our defence. Individualy no problems but as a collective force........What is going on? Mark your man and win the first ball!!!!! JEEEZ. Here's another word COMMUNICATE. We need a shouter at the back. You can't blame our attacking style for leaving defenders exposed when most goals have been conceded from set pieces. I'm sorry to say its just crap defending...end of! With a solid back four we would be home and dry by now. The Prem would rip the current defence to pieces if we ever get the chance to play there any time soon. Not out of it yet but running out of time. We are in the land of "must win" games from now on. Hope I feel more positive in the morning. Even Lua Luas goal (which is right up there for a GOS shout) hasn't really helped.

The defence has been shite for ages and our attacking play and goals paper over the cracks, i agree with the above post, it's not just a collective issue, it's just plain crap defending. With our attacking play i can understand with the fullbacks bombing forward, it will cause gaps at the back and far posts, but not from set-pieces ,when you've got time to position yourself and the back 4 including the keeper can communicate to pick up the attacking players. The back 4 need to improve quick time and work on set-pieces or we can kiss goodbye to the play-offs.
